A Response to Senators Warren and Booker’s Proposed Federal Trade Commission Investigation of Online Real Estate
Senators Warren and Booker have asked the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to investigate agent referrals, mortgage steering, and private listings in online real estate. We support rigorous enforcement, and we propose three targeted reforms so that consumer protection and competition reinforce one another.
